Collatz Stopping Time 1 to 9999

ONENESS
(Collatz Conjecture: 3n + 1)

Divide by two if even
Or half of the triple plus one

Indefinitely.

All roads lead to one, naturally –
Mere conjecture yet to be disproved.

This morning I read about the Collatz Conjecture which is one of those unproven math problems. The mathematical property of oneness struck me as poetic and so I wanted to write a poem about it and ended up with this mathematical poem instead.
