Love’s Fools

By PoeticMeditations

Momentary insanity
Or possession by some demon,
In defense, might serve as a plea
For why you lost your reason.

Tumbling off a high precipice,
You may realize as you fall
That for each and every one of us
Love makes a fool of us all.

About poeticmeditations

A 19th-century romantic poet living in the 21st-century. The Romantic poets, nib pens, candlelight, waistcoats, and pocket watches are a few of my favorite things.
